Great Day 3 Lindalou! I think you may have the only shot of "Save a Horse" that shows at least part of his face! I don't know why, but all my shots give a better view of hi other end!
I agree about La Cueva Del Chango...great little hidden gem in that neighborhood. We really enjoyed it, even if we did stick to more or less American food. (omelette and French toast.) Those chicken crepes looked delicious! |

Well, get a move on, Lindalou! We can't wait till after the College World Series! Now, I'm not a huge College World Series fan, but Charlie LOVES it! Why are you into it? Does it take place near you, or do you know someone in it, or are you just baseball fans? |

All of the above. The College World Series is in Omaha here and its been part of our lives forever. Plus all 5 of our kids played baseball/softball and Gary coached both of the boys teams so needless to say we are baseball fans. I have lawnchair butt to prove it! A lot of our summer vacations even revolve around MLB games. In fact, being from the Boston area you might appreciate the fact that my first MLB game ever was the Red Sox and Yanks at Fenway. Nothing like it I tell ya. You guys are lucky to be so close. Are you guys big Red Sox fans? Probably a silly question. |

I started watching the CWS when Oregon State made their first trip a few years back. The next year was their first title and the year after was their second. I would love to see it in person. The announcers can't talk enough about the residents of Omaha and the way the city embraces the game. The womens CWS is pretty fun too. The Lady Huskies from Seattle won it this year. |
