Taxi stand at Xel-Ha??
Hello,
I did a search and didn't find the answer I was looking for - so I apologize if this is a newbie/rookie question. If we decide to take a taxi to Xel-Ha (4 people total) will there be a taxi stand there for our return trip to our PDC hotel? It sounds like many people prefer the bus or collectivos, but we'd rather use a taxi. Also, would anyone know the rate for this??? Thanks in Advance!! |

I am sure you won't have a problem getting a taxi when you leave Xel Ha. The price will depend on where you are going. To get to Xel Ha from Juarez and 5th, it will be $40-50 USD each way taking a taxi, and probably $4-6 dollars per person round trip if you take the ADO bus. The bus is air conditioned, has a bathroom and you usually have a reserved seat. The taxi is convenient if you don't know when you want to get there or leave, but frankly I feel it's a rip off. Have fun and get there early (8:30 am) and leave when they kick you out the door.

Its not a rookie question!
![]() While leaving the park, there were taxi drivers offering us rides right outside the entrance gate. There must have been at least 5 taxi drivers/cars. I would suggest taking a colectivo there. It cost around $3 round trip for 2 people. You can catch a colectivo on 2nd by 5th. But if you prefer the taxi, rest assured, drivers will be waiting for you when your leaving. We just went to Xel Ha & loved it! ![]() Have fun! |
