A quick question if I may.....

As of October 05, 2010 is Retro (4th Street between 5th Avenue and the beach) open for business and this rocking?

On my last trip in September 2009 they were closed for renovations I believe

I really love "Retro" type music.

cheers...

I'm not asking for any musical critique, just want to see if there's someplace I can cut loose! Muchas Gracias!
When you find it let me know Going to see Disturbed next week!

We saw Disturbed a few weeks ago. It's a great show. Avenged Sevenfold was epic, don't miss the beginning of their set. Stone Sour was surprisingly good too. Cory Taylor is an awesome singer. Guitarist Jim Root threw two picks to my kids which was the highlight of the night.

Have a great time!

You hear the bad news. Dave Draiman is forced to take time off for his voice.

Mydenrocks: Disturbed Cancels Concerts; Cancelled due to singer David Draiman

We saw them in Minneapolis to kick off the tour. Was great! Guess you're going to have to wait.

I did! Glad I didn't get the tickets yet that stinks! My friends did though. I've seen them 2 or 3 times and they've always been excellent! Hope he get back to normal soon

Took my son and his buddies to see Disturbed and the others at the Rockstar Energy Tour. It was a little harder than I am used to but it was a lot of fun. Here is the epic and somewhat disturbing intro for Avenged Sevenfold taken by me. The music would have sounded better as I was recording but I was so close to the stage/speakers and the concert music level was just a little past "ear-bleed" levels that the recorded sound isnt that good but here it is:

Not as far as I know. There is this place on 5th that is a tattoo parlor / bar I think that play some rock, but I think that is about it. I don't remember exactly where it's located, but I'm guessing between 6th and 4th or something like that..

But if you hear some death metal coming from a car that is probably me

Come to Wah Wah beach bar on a Friday night. Genius Kong plays from 6-10. They have some original stuff, and they also do a lot of covers from the 90's alternative hard rock genre. Pearl Jam, Papa Roach, Audioslave, Muse, etc. They are REALLY good.
