hi rick i ve tried getting apic and then right click to where it says put as s deskbackground but there is not that option may have something to do with the dummydown version..;(..maybe char will know she has the same model...

ok figured out the windows 7 starter does not let you change pic unless you upgrade...so i will let it be. but i am wondering the best EASY way to download or transfer pics i have on my net book to my home pc...please remember i am not good at this stuff(for those of you )

How do you like the Acer, syl? Did you have to get some kind of router for the internet to work at home?

Kinda sux that you can't change the desktop picture but oh well. I downloaded Picassa on my netbook to load pics on it. Now transfering from one pc to another...no clue???

I don't even put photos on my netbook. Don't want to overload it with stuff. I just use it when I travel and the photos have to wait until I'm home on my desktop.

I LOVE IT!!! it is perfect for my needs e-mails and searching stuff and cking PI when at work...i took it on our girlsgetaway and downloaded some pics from everyones camera...the girls were impressed and i havent had aprob using the internet w/o router...at the villa they just gave me the password to connect

???regarding camera card....when i insert card that little window does not appear at on the right corner showing an upload option..it just makes a ding sound???it use to show up any clues on what i need to do???thanks...
