Dress Code for Playa del Carmen nightclubs?

Hey all,

Is it like Cancun?

Lets say I wanted to go to El Cielo, Om lounge or Blue Parrot for example would I need to wear long pants and proper shoes?

I am talking about the over 30 crowd btw

I can imagine going in a T-shirt, short pants and flip flops to any nightclub

I assume you're a guy? Guys can get away with pretty much anything but some of the 12th St clubs get a little "pose-y" at times. It's totally what you feel comfortable in, in the long run.
