Yoga by the Sea

I want to let you all know about my great yoga teachers, Arielle and Ellen. Yoga by the sea is a fantastic way to start the day. The yoga they teach is Hatha based yoga and the classes are multi-level, so regardless of if you're a beginner or have done this for a while, Arielle and Ellen are great!

Classes are held in the beautiful 3rd floor yoga studio at Hotel Alambra, with a gorgeous ocean view and a fitting oriental setting. Yoga mats, blocks, blankets and straps are provided, so all you need to do is to show up.

Here are a couple of photos:

what a great way to start the day!

this is Ellen and Arielle

The schedule is
Monday: 8 to 9 am
Tuesday: 9 to 10 am & 6 to 7 pm

Thursday: 9 to 10 am & 6 to 7 pm
Friday: 8 to 9 am & 5.3o to 6.30 pm

Cost ?

Hi Anna

Thanks looks very refreshing, damn I need more strectching, from all this computing I get stiff as a board. I have never tried Yoga but looks like its good for streching which I tend to skimp on at the gym.

What are the costs ? Monthly? Drop in?

Thanks,
BM

You can go with any of the following:
1. pay by the class
2. get a package of 8 classes
3. pay monthly

Micajah, see at yoga!

Yoga classes

Hola!

My friend and I are planning on coming to PDC this weekend for one week. We were wondering if you had a website for your yoga or if you could just tell us the price. Also, is your yoga studio advertised on the hotels website?

Thanks for the info.

Hola Anna

Hola Anna
My name is Claudia and I have some questions to ask.
As I do Yoga for over then 5 years I would be happy to join lessons in this Hotel you mentioned. I will be in PDC in may for 1 week.
Do you have any idea if in PDC exists or is planned a healthcenter that would offer retreats, seminars with different toppics?
Where is this Hotel Alambra located?
Thank you so much for your answer and have a great time
namaste
Claudia

Mangocc,

May not be what you're looking for, but I just received an email from Ceiba del Mar (stayed there in 2003) about a seminar there.

Hi, my wife attended a class there a couple weeks ago, thourouly loved it. About the price: One session was 100 Pesos, 80 with the Playa Card. Another Playa Card special is 3 sessions for 200 pesos.
Humorous side note: The instructor at the Alhambra asked my wife where our hotel, the Playa Maya was. Steve, you need some better exposure!
