Let the driver know what end of town you are going to, north or south..We thought we would be adventurous, looking back this was just stupid: Noon, walk down the entrance road to the highway. It turned out to be close to 2 miles! We thought catching a collectivo would be the ticket. As close as Secrets Capri is to PDC, they were all full and nobody would stop...boy did that suck for 45 min, and I can't tell you how many cabs stopped to offer their services...We finally took a guys offer, he was deadheading it into PDC, and was training a new driver, so since he had to go anyway, he only took $5.00, thank you very much. To come back, we decided to collectivo it back, got in the van, found out it would be $4.00, cool. If you do that you have to watch closely for the hotel sign out front, or you miss your stop. We wound up stopping at the El Mandarin entrance, and still had the 2 mile walk ahead of us.....well, I worked off another dinner and lost a good buzz at the same time.
