change of plans...
been thinking that route 66 will still be there in a decade...so thought I'd rather visit a country that is developing, and that will have big changes in the same time span.
Was thinking about Bolivia ( uyuni desert at last!) + Peru + Equador...what do you think?
opinions?

If you are in that direction anyway why don't you go to Asia? I mean you can go to South America on a different trip without the 12 hour 'shortcut' to Europe...

Anna,so being from Italy have you seen most of Europe and have you been to the Balkans. Just curious as I am sure they have changed much in the last twenty years, as has everything

I know...but been wanting to see bolivia and peru for some time.
Would like to go back to india but i'm scared on NOT coming back

never been. seen most of europe but not the balcans.
my initial ideas were:

- mountain gorilla trekking in centra africa ( not the right time- guerrilla going on)
- transiberian train ( too cold in october)
?
