Would love to see your pics and I'll share mine when it's completed and before (when he starts working) so you all can see how it's going. What door style and colour did you choose?
We had an Amish man make our cabinets for the house we are getting ready to sell. He did a beautiful job and he had them done in 2 weeks from start to finish and was 1/2 of the price of anyone else. We had the wood that we had cut down from our property. We used quarter sawn cherry and they turned out beautiful. Once the countertops are installed (next week), I will post those for you to see. I'm not sure what the style of the door is, but you my know once you see the picture.
The cabinets we have in our kitchen where we live were also custom built by a man who is now deceased, but the cabinets are wormy chestnut and are just beautiful. Tomorrow I will take a picture of the cabinets in our house and post them for you. The mistake that was made then was the shelves are not adjustable, so certain things must go on certain shelves and there is no lazy susan in the corner cabinets. Other than that, perfect!
Feel free to PM me with any questions.
