We just returned from MP, Lots of construction going on and alot of time before things are done I am sure. My advice is to rent a car or you will feel stranded at the resort. MP is like a Best Western with a real nice pool. The beach is so rocky on the bottom with no sand it is impossible to swim the ocean. With a car location is good, easy drive to Playa and Cancun. Reserve one before you go and pickup at airport. We were there for two weeks and got to know area pretty well, any questions just ask. Barb
