Rome had the worst traffic I ever experienced...
We almost missed our flight to NYC, and we even allowed for 2 hours travel time + 2 hours prior airport check-in.
My commute from home to work is sans-traffic, normally (I leave very early or after 9am)...but I still allow at least 1.5 hours travel time, each way.
