Your right Char. The woman in my family seem to out live the men by a long shot. My great grandmother and her twin were 93 when they died, they had alztimer(sp) for many years before they past away. My grandmother is 78 and you would never be able to tell. She's constantly going to the doctor with a made up illness to get attention, all her friends seem to have something or another wrong with them.

Up until last year, she still paid all her own bills, wrote her own checks and wrote a letter to my parents every two weeks. This last year has been tougher on her physically so she doesn't do as much writing. But she still plays Solitaire at the kitchen table every night, goes to church every Sunday and goes to have her hair "done" every other Friday.
