Meh, we got LOTS of those days. pal. That's what you call a normal day in Colorado.

Ah, cool!

Yes, it's quite good, isn't it? I like Manu Chao a lot. He can get to recycling things a bit much in his music, from time to time, but it's really fun and interesting stuff, imo. Glad to hear of someone else picking him up.

Took a couple more snows, but we now have a bit of photographable accumulation.
Too bad it's on a day when Benjamin was to play a make-up game. (And he's on a roll, too, scoring 2 and missing a hat trick by little more than the width of the ball on a third opportunity from well outside the area, this past Saturday. All left-footed, he reminds me. )

And now a little bit more accumulation on that deck.

Benjamin at work on the driveway so we can go out and get pumpkins to carve (though I know not where we'll be putting them, at this point!).

WOW....you have to shovel already - that is early.

No snow here!

I just did the last mow-and-fertilize yesterday, so now I am ready for it to snow, but we have none in the forecast for now.

Don't have to do that either.
Not only do we have no snow, we got no water for the lawn that does not exist anymore.

Did you go to xeriscaping because of water restrictions?

We don't have to water our lawn too often, so it's not too bad....I think I maybe watered it about 5 times for an hour this past summer, only. (we get enough rain and not too much excessive heat in summer.)

BUT, more people are going to be going to xeriscaping because they have banned most weed killers. There are SO many weeds everywhere now....sayonara to the nice green, low maintenance lawn.

This thing just doesn't quit! Compare the snow on the railings this morning to the levels in the other shots:
I cleared the snow off this deck furniture yesterday evening, and now...
Our poor apple tree, there... We took the snow off it twice yesterday, but look at it... We've got 2-3 trees in trouble -- 1 already lost a couple of relatively sizable limbs, in fact -- because they didn't have time to lose their leaves and now the snow just gathers all the more, you know...

I always love your reactions to these shots, Laura. I think you're my main motivation in posting them, from time to time.

And you just reminded me that I have a question for you, so watch your PM inbox...
