hello everyone!!!! I'm in Tulsa, Oklahoma!!!!!!!!!!. I'm also surpisingly still alive! I'm surprised by many things, actually! There are smoking sections in most restaurants! And smoking rooms at the Hotel!! .
Why surprised to be alive? Well, my dad is VERY distracted...I'm seriusoly scared....driving at night under the rain oin the highway, trying to get into St luis, what does he do? He STOPS on the highway to look better at the signs. This, he did twice. Then he entered twice in a one wa street ( thankfully not on the highway). We got pulled over but the cop was real nice. I do panic at times and we argue. Not the best of trips until now. I try to stay calm but then he does it again. I told him I'd like to live a few years more, if possible. I'm scared, and he gets all angry at ME!
apart from the freaky moments, and the rain, all is well. We had a beautiful sunshine day yesterday, enjoyed Missoury countryside and part of Kansas ( very small strip), and now we are in Oklahoma!!! Want to see the buffalos! want to see a rodeo!!!
I'll let y'all know as soon as I see one!
I'm also taking pictures....

hello y'all!!! great movements today...we are now at Laton, Oklahoma ( sooo near Texas). We did a small detour because I wanted to see the buffalos at the park ( who's name I can't recall, of course!). so we went to visit downtown tulsa this morning ( 46 degrees ) and then headed to Oklahoma City, all along 66, nice countryside ( jees the US is sooo green! I guess I won't need to escape to a desert island when I will have no urge to see masses!), no rain but cloudy. but just fine! we detourede to Guthrie, first capital of Oklahoma, very tine but very well preserved. I could see saloons and cowboys everywhere ( in my mind that is of course). Btw, I keep seeing hot guys! But being with my dad doesn't help...Jack, my dad is 70 going on 71. teeny bit distracted but still young . anyway, after guthrie we went straight to the Oklahoma National Cowboy and Western heritage Museum, very interesting and where I had the best food until now

So I started nagging him about wanting to see the herd of 600 hundered free buffalos at this national park, and here we are. then tomorrow after the park we will head, dear Vikki, to amarillo and will definately visit the cadillac park!!!!!!!!!! I'll tell bees he has a fans ( or amybe better not, we don't want the man to be distracted more, do we?????????????)
It may seem that we are doing this in a hurry, which in a way we are...so many things to see and little time...but the real kick is being together and enjoying our company ( and arguing some ). But I'm really proud of my dad, and I admit that I am a lil bit bitchy at times .
Oh, forgot to menion the flat tire 2 days ago in rainy and cold missouri side road. thank god a firefighter was running in the field () and changed the wheele for us. He saved us. Truly. For those who don't know yet, my dad is an intellectual who can't change a light bulb if he needs to . I'm not any better, so our destiny would have been to be stuck in some part of missouri for quite some time...

Oh Anna, please please please tell me you are keeping a journal of this trip! And if you haven't been, then you MUST stop at the next truck stop and buy a notebook and a couple of pens and start immediately! There is a book in this!!

of course I am! I'm a psico maniac, I've kept a jurnal of my life, every single day, every single move, for like 10 years - last notebook ( moleskine) was like 5 years ago. then i felt like I was a little bit nuts and I quit. but i had a real fixation in writing all my life on paper. freaky.

I LOVE the part of the country you are preparing to tour! You are going to have SUCH a great time! The Grand Canyon is one of the most inspiring, powerful and humbling places I have ever seen in my life! Enjoy!

anna is in great hands! yes dad is a bit distracted , but we always used to have these great trips in europe when we were younger, then I started travelling with him (very short holidays) before my daughter was born, now it's anna's time. He is so distracted and clumsy and anti-practical that we both have great funny memories of our trips together. but he is also very special and is the person with more knowledge on EVERYTHING than anyone I ever knew (encyclopedia, really! all those details!!! )
thank god anna is an adult though and can take care of herself (he tends to "forget" little ones when he's supposed to look after them )

I WANT A POSTCARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
