New to Playa.info Hello to all

Since October 2007 My wife and I have visited Playa Del Carmen through Occidental Xcaret four times and are in love with it. We have shopped Calle 5 and visited the beach by day. Mostly have stayed in resort but this time we are going for 12 nights and apart from making sure we see the festival of life and death we want to enjoy the Playa night life. We will be down on the 23rd of October and looking to have a lot of fun celebrating our 25 anniversary. Thanks for having this forum I have read so many usful tips in just a short time.

Thank you candylady401 believe it or not it seemed like a very short mile. We just feel like life just started and Playa will be a great place to kick start the next mile.

I know what you mean about it seeming short. Come January we'll have been married for 39 years. Our 42nd anniversary of our first date is tomorrow -- hubby always remembers that date too. I always tell him that Friday the 13th is his lucky day... (first date: Friday, October 13, 1967)

Congratulations to you and your husband.
I also have it easy remembering our first date. My wife's birthday is on the 28th of October and we started dating on the 29th, so as a perfect fit we squeezed in our wedding on the 27th to make it three great days to celebrate.

Starting a new tradition is fun. My wife laughs at my lack of counting abilities when scheduling our vacation to Playa. We started with seven days then eight and so on ... now we are at twelve nights.

We started out with a week, then 10 days, then 2 weeks. I'd love to go for the whole winter....just can't get enough of Playa! As soon as I get there, I start counting how many more days I have. When it gets close to the end of our stay, I get panicky...I just don't want to leave. (It's the Playa disease...lol)

I always get the serious blues in while transit to the Airport for departure.

Well then, you've got "the disease" too. I think most everyone gets it once they've been to Playa.
