"Will I get in trouble if I say that I think that, as it is right now that the beach is to wide. It has been said by the beach restoration people that they figure they will lose about half of what they did. I think that would be OK. "
Well, if they lose half of the restoration and beach clubs expand their lounge chairs, we'll be about back where we started! |

Beach restore
Well this morning (Friday) they have a huge row of sand piled in front
of the new El Taj and Playa Palms . A backhoe has been pulling sand back from the waters edge all night . Not sure of their theory !! Will have to wait and see. |

Yes i agree the beaches look much better and im sure everyone is happier w them. i just have a question for a local or someone who is there... Is the sand still powdery and white like originally? how tulum is still currently? or is it all coarse and a little bit yellow how cancun was a few years back? its hard to tell from the webcams. thanks -Justin
