I was very impressed how you still have to drive North and loopback to cross the 307. Some overpass.

I told my locksmith, Pedro, on Juarez the same thing on Saturday. He asked me if I liked it. I said no, it looks like Times Square in NYC and has no place here and can be a distraction for drivers, he agreed. I'm sure they will figure something out as they are charging a lot for the ads.

He is a great locksmith BTW!

Rain, you are prolly right, no time for this construction is good time.

SIPSE.com says there will be two overpasses
They have begun closure of the four center lanes from Juarez south 4 kilometers.
Construction is expected to run through 2010

Any locals know how this will effect bus/colectivo traffic from Cancun? Will be down in a few days and was going to spend a night in PDC.

Was told today that one overhead roadway will run from south of Juarez to north of Constityentes. Just wondering where the other one might be built?

It seems both sources are good.
There will be two overpasses.
The first, as Al mentioned, will run from Juarez and continue elevated to Calle 34.
The second overpass will be over Ave Colosio (Bodega Aurrera).
I've never considered that intersection a real bottleneck, but whatever.

How are things progressing? Mexicans work fast.

Last time we were there was in May. The video looks like it was taken about the time we were there, maybe a little earlier.

Thank god for the bypass, at least you are moving and not stuck in a merge.
