Hacienda Paradise - Smoking?

We are staying at Hacienda Paradise in a week or so. Wife is a smoker. I have now read somewhere that the entire property is smoke free. My prior understanding was that all ROOMS were smoke free, which would be fine if smoking was allowed on the balconies or at the bar, or around the pool, etc. Anyone know? My wife will be very very very VERY mad at me . . . .
