Getting married at the TUCAN in the SPRING of 04'.

Looking for tips and info. on the resort. We stayed at the Rui Palace before, anybody know how they compare?

black_Mamba, I'm getting married at the Iberostar Tucan in February 2004. The wedding coordinator has been great so far. Ill let you know how it goes

I think the Riu Palace is a big upscale from Tucan, although I have not stayed there. We stayed at the Tucan last Feb, it was great. When is your wedding, my wife and I will be at the Riu Mar 29-April 5.

We were steered away from the Riu and sent to the Quetzal(part of the same resort as the Tucan). we were told that the Riu was not as clean as far as meals with mostly outside buffet style dining. We will be going to the Quetzal for 10 days in 11 days for our honeymoon!
