H1N1 Flu Shot, Got Yours Yet?
Have you gotten you swine flu shot yet? Have you gotten your regular flu shot yet? Why or why not?
Me I have had my regular flu shot but not the other. We have had people die from the H1N1 here and I would get it if available but no shots yet. I am in a high risk group too. I am a firm believer in the flu shot as I do not like retching for five days, let alone dying from the H1N1. |

I'm immune to H1N1...been there done that already, unfortunately. It wasn't fun. Still have the cough. Was supposed to get the reg. flu shot last week at work but the vaccines didn't come in. This week everyone was sick...go figure! Not sure what I'll do now.

I'm scheduled for the seasonal flu shot on 11/11. I have not scheduled for H1N1 and not sure if I should or not. First, not sure of the availability of the vaccine and second, I am not high risk so thinking I should only get it if there is plenty of availability.

I had the regular flu shot about a month ago. I'm also in a high risk group so I was supposed to get the H1N1 shot but it didn't come in time.
I've been battling H1N1 since Tuesday. There have been several people in my office affected as well as a number of their kids. Still congested and running a temp but so far no complications. |

I had the Seasonal flu shot 2 Weeks ago..Tomorrow plan to get the H1N1 vaccination at a clinic set up for health services workers.....
I work in a nursing home so am considered high risk.. Without sounding pomp ass I would gladly give up my shot to a person or child who is at high risk ( I am high risk because of the pace I work but my age has ruled me out of the high risk area ) and has to wait for the vaccination..Tappy for a fee can you not get a pneumonia shot at your Doctors office... Important for those that are susceptible to pneumonia Skiptown I also am a firm believer in the flu shot .. |

How To Avoid The Swine Flu
Eat right! Make sure you get your daily dose of fruits and veggies. Take your vitamins and bump up your vitamin C.? Get plenty of exercise because exercise helps build your immune system. Walk for at least an hour a day..? Go for a swim..? Take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc.? Wash your hands often.? If you can't wash them, keep a bottle of antibacterial stuff around. Get lots of fresh air.? Open doors & windows whenever possible.? Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can. Get plenty of rest.? OR Take the doctor's approach..? Think about it... When you go for a flu shot, what do they do first? They Clean your arm with alcohol...? Why????? Because Alcohol KILLS GERMS..? So......? I walk to the liquor store. (exercise)? I put lime in my lager ..(fruit)? Celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies)? Drink outdoors on the bar patio..(fresh air)? Tell jokes, laugh....(eliminate stress)? Then pass out. (rest)? The way I see it...? If you keep your alcohol levels up flu germs?can't get you!? My grandmother always said...? 'A shot in the glass? is better than one in the
