My very American cat has quite quickly become Mexican, if that's the case. The inside litter box hasn't been used in weeks. For that matter, the cat himself only comes in the house now to catch a quick bite, a brief cuddle, and (depending on how long before I kick him out) a cool nap in the bathroom sink (sin agua). He's progressed from hating to go outside when we lived in the burbs, to doing the in-out game constantly when we moved to my rural hometown, to wanting to spend every moment day and night lounging under the palapa and fraternizing (ranging from tussles to flat out ignoring) the local cats. He patiently allows me to feed the hungry (and there are tons of them around here), though I'm not allowed to give them
his food. He wasn't too pleased with the getting here, but, now that we're here, he's home too... just like me.
