Nativo at the DAC vegetable shop is near my house and one of my favorites in town. They have a new shop on 15th next to Tacos Israel, but I've not tried it.
(FYI, it's chilaquiles)

Chilaquiles

Chilaquiles are thin tortilla strips, eggs, asigo cheese and whatever all mixed together, usually a breakfast thing. Awesome. James, thanks for the tip.

Where the best place is to eat them depends upon how you like them: crisp? mushy? green sauce? red sauce? with or without chicken?

I like them crisp with red sauce and chicken plus a fried egg on the top. And please make them at least a little picante! I have found that they make them to my complete satisfaction at Le Bistrot on 8th Street and the beach. They aren't on the menu, but the cook will make them if you insist.

Had some great ones both with red and green sauce at the Alhambra Hotel restaraunt. Nice way to start the day sitting on the beach eating good food.

I love the chilaquiles at the Alhambra! The green ones with chicken are my favorite. I wish that I was there. *sigh*
