The force of custom has always defined the norm.
Thus even though the old Southern and Northern 'Rhodes'ia(s) have long conformed to more distinct differentiating between the north and the south, (i.e. Zimbabwe and Zambia) there still remains a vital link between both via them 'Roads'.
