When we stayed at Casa de Gopola our room had a nice balcony that overlooked the pool. Looked like a cool, funky hotel.

I miss Playa

Hey Rob sounds like you are having a good time already. I can't wait to be there in Playa as well. Our friends Doug and Phyllis are leaving tomorrow morning .......makes me even more jealous, that I'm not there. Other friends of ours were there for only 1 week and return home tomorrow. How can you only go to Playa for 1 week, I'm betting they will be back. "My Rob" and I will be there on the 25th of Jan......none too soon. Hope to see you around........take care And try not to get into TOO MUCH trouble and keep us all up to date on what's happening in Playa

Hey Murrsay, we are staying until March 1st........let me rephrase that "I'm" staying until the 1st of May, Rob has to go home on the 8th of Feb. Sounds like you guys have a really nice trip planned to Belize. I'd like to do that on of these days when Rob can stay longer. I definitely want to hear all about that trip.

Sucks to be your Rob. Hey! that sounds like the same that happened to us last year. Except I stayed and Heather went home to work. She retires the end of Dec. this year so that won't happen again. Looking forward to hopping through Belize. The sister in law will be with us for the 3 months.

Looks like there will be lots of time to ponder life while watching the surf. Am I reading it right. You will be in Playa from Jan 25 to March or May 1 and poor Rob only gets 2 weeks. We can cheer him up by sending him pictures of us having fun on the beach.

A couple Playa trips ago, we met Doug and Phyllis on the ADO and talked to them the whole way to Playa. They were great folks and gave us may great tips. We finally met up with them our last night at Bad Boys and we greeted each other in a very excited/drunken embrace - was one of the highlight's of our trip.

Yap, someone has to make the money in the family wish he could stay longer but someone has to mind the store and take care of the fur babies.

They will be so pleased to hear that. They are quite the couple. Doug just loves to give everyone advise on Playa. Are you guys planning a trip there this year, I don't recall?
