Long Term Rental - 3 Bedroom Villa in Playacar

Available April 15 2010 on a 6-12 month lease - Located within the quiet, gated residential community, Club Real, Casa Magellan, with three bedrooms plus an office and full maid's quarters, this is the perfect home for a family relocating to Playa del Carmen. The open floor plan is ideal for a young family and those who like to entertain.

Perhaps the highlight of this lovely home is the recently updated gourmet kitchen. Fitted with top of the line appliances, seemless corian countertops, and custom made hardwood cabinetry accented with frosted glass, this kitchen is a chef's dream.

Upstairs, a spacious landing area has been converted into a home office with handcrafted cabinetry for storage. The master bedroom suite includes an ensuite bath, walk in closet, a stunning traditional boveda ceiling and access to a terrace that spans nearly the entire length of the home, overlooking the pool, the expansive back yard and beyond to the golf course.

Still Available?

I was wondering if this rental was still available for a 6 month lease? And is the start date negotiable?

The, the family that was supposed to move in decided to stay put. It will be available May 21 2010. The monthly rental rate is $2200 usd/month plus utilities. First and last months rent up front plus one month security deposit. If you would like to see it, we would be happy to arrange a viewing.

Hi Michele! I am checking with the owners now to see if the home is available. I think it is occupied until September but I will make sure.

In regard to schools, the only truly bi-lingual school is Ak Lu'um, a small Waldorf School in the jungle. All other schools vary in their level of English. Papalote has quite a few English speaking teachers and even conducts some classes in English. These are also the two school that are the most multi-cultural in their make up.

The English speaking contacts for these two schools are:

Siobhan Bowers
Ak Lu'um International School
Ak Lu'um International School - Playa del Carmen
akluum[at]gmail.com
984-115-4915

Miroslava Fadrique Magellon
Comunidad Educativa El Papalote
984-879-3052
elpapalote[at]prodigy.net.mx
Comunidad Educativa El Papalote

Other schools you may want to arrange interviews with are:

Colegio Ingles
Mayaland
Tepeyac
Yitsatil
Manuel Acosta
Puerto Aventuras School
