That sounds exactly like us!!!! We had planned on getting married in Mexico six years ago...but do to unforeseen issues, we couldn't, but kept our trip as planned. We were married two weeks later on a beach in the Outer Banks.

Getting the job done

One more day please!

It is our last full day . Turns out it is a perfect day for a tattoo, a little overcast. We make up our last breakfast using up all the last of the fresh fruit for smoothies, and head out. The shop is close to mega and HC so we don’t need much.
Pollo is there and on time(something I can’t say our tattooist here in Calgary is very good at) Ladies first! I’m up! Now as you may have seen I have a larger portion of back tattooed so a little arm piece is nothing...I sit back and relax!

Nothing too it!

The man at work!

I’m glad that we waited till the end and even happier that we found Pollo...I don’t feel that I have to say this but I will....The shop was clean, he was a pro, everything was awesome...I’ve had work done in other countries before and have never had a issue because I am sober, and smart about where I get it done...(When we got back and told my brother you would have thought I sold a kidney he freaked and was all going off about hep and stuff...maybe he would get wasted and tattooed at some hole ,but let me tell you not this lady!)

We listened to wicked tunes and I was done in under 2 hours! Ta da! Now this picture wasn’t taken there but this my tattoo these days.
I know the pic isn’t great but it’s all I got today!

The Woodstock version:

Josh was up next, and his was in a bit more of a tender place. Josh had run to mega and picked up some beers for afterwards...and as I was done opened a nice cold beer and watched as Josh winced away! I wish I could show some video here....picture this ohhh ouch ahhhh oh wince.....and Josh has got alot of work on him too the back of the neck is just a little sensitive: His took about 2 hours as well...

Soooo fresh! Now to color it in:

Josh’s tattoo present day!

Me and Pollo:

We finish up and stay back to sip a drink with Pollo. We give thanks and head over to HC for one last Arachara...and my last yummmmmmmm! Then it’s off to the condo to finish up drinks and say goodbye to new friends...oh yeah and pack!

NO WAY! Congrats on your beach wedding, and for keeping your trip as well...When life gives you lemons go get the tequila

and they're off!

The last day!

Rise and shine! It’s travel day! We are catching the Ado bus and then have a pit stop in Houston before arriving home which is Calgary to two kids, two cats and a dog!
This was the earliest morning we were up the entire time we were in PDC , and it was kinda nice...(I am going to try very hard this time to get some early mornings in)...The sun is rising, the water is calm, the streets bare, the sand picture perfect...and the taco stands are ready to serve you!
Here’s Josh getting the last taco’s!

Here comes the Sun:

The last of the beach shots:

The beach church:
I would love to try to get to mass on a Sunday, just to see what a Mexican mass is like...I know what the Ukraine mass is like....oh do I know...My Baba would be proud!

Off we go homeward bound....To sum up the trip.
We came, we saw, we chilled! Will we come again? See you there in 3.5 months people!

Thanks for taking the time to share in a bit of my trip!

Your dichroic glass necklace...did you make it? My father in law taught me how to do glass fusion before he died and dichroic was his favorite! I just took another glass fusion class and used a bit of the dichroic. Looking forward to getting my own table top kiln so I can do it at home. My kiln is too big to do jewelry pieces. It's more for large projects and pottery.
I wish I could make a neaklace! Joshua bought it for me in PV Mexico a few years ago....
I'd love to see some of your work!
