Calling All Palace Resorts Members

Mi mal if this is being posted in the wrong forum.....

My wife and I will be traveling to the region and staying at ASP and will be visiting PDC and Playacar Palace at some point. For those members who have recently stayed there (or any other Palace property for that matter), can you share with me what the current 'tour' perks are these days?

Meaning that for the 2 hours of our vacation that we will waste, what will be getting in return?

We took 400 usd in spa services and gift shop purchases. We do not golf or swim with the dolphins. The upgrade incentives for us were pretty good free air, imperial/comp weeks but we do not need to upgrade for more weeks, we are happy with what we have. If you are interested in buying weeks hold out because they will come way down even sell 10 weeks which we were told they do not sell anything less than 25 wks now but overheard another couple being offered that amount.

We were offered 10 weeks last Feb. They called it a honeymoon special, even tho we weren't on our honeymoon. I think it was because we kept saying "it sounds great but we don't have that kind of money laying around."

In return for our two hours we got $200 in spa money and a round of golf at Playacar (including equipment rental).
