I've only stayed at the Tequila but obviously spent time at the Yucatan and Playacar as a result. The rooms are all very similar - same facilities (minibar, tv, etc) the main MAIN difference is Tequila is not directly on the beach so if you're someone who forgets to take their book/music to the beach then you'll be trotting backwards and forwards. We happily spent all day down there as you can get food and drinks from the restaurants at Yucatan and Playacar. Oh and the Tequila has a bigger entertainment programme and a bigger children's animation programme.
More importantly, I don't think you can go far wrong with any of the Rui hotels!
