Haven't you ever bitched to your friends about your family? It's the same thing to me. I don't think the British are so narrow minded to thing that all Americans are idiots like their president. Trust me. I was there this summer and there were tons of American tourist everywhere who were being treated very nicely. What the Chicks or Clinton said/says does not make British or Europeans dislike the average citizen.
