We have stayed at Riu Tequila and spent most of our days at the Playacar pool.
IMHO the Tequila for the cheaper price is fine.....rooms are not great.....but
food at breakfast and dinner was awesome. The pool at the Playacar is a much a better place than the Tequila......and then there is the beach. I would stay at any
RIU also..................
