question about transporting 14 mo. old in a shuttle...
In the apple vacations shuttle, will we be able to sit him on our laps, or will he need a car seat of some sort?(not sure about mexico's laws, or if they are enforced.)

Not sure about the laws regarding childseats or whether they are enforced, but if it was my child I'd be concerned first and foremost about his safety. Chances are nothing bad will happen, and I'm sure plenty of vacationing parents just put their kid on ther lap without incident, but having seen some of the accidents on the 307, I would not risk NOT putting my 14 month old in a safety seat.
Do you have an agent you can contact to request a child safety seat for the shuttle? If not, I'd strongly encourage you to bring one, even if it's just to use for the ride to and from the airport - just like you do (presumably) at home. |

Apple will not provide you with a car seat. If you take the standard included transfesr, they may not even let you use your own as it would take up too much room/space needed for other passengers they have scheduled to go in the same van. If you want to bring your own car seat, you should upgrade to a private transfer ($50/per adult round trip) or hire a private transfer company and decline the Apple transfers.
