We'll be in Playa in a month. I will stop by the Dirty Martini and drink a toast to you and your lovely wife!!

Sorry about the red x's. It was working yesterday. I will try to get it corrected later today when I have more time. I am doing the dreaded work thing today.

Sounds like you had your priorities straight. I like your writing style.

My wife and I will be driving from Glasgow through Billings this Wed to meet up with our daughter and drive to Texas. Then we'll be flying out of San Antonio next week to Playa staying at the same hotel. Any suggestions of rooms to ask for; nicely?

Looking forward to the rest of your trip report!

I recommend getting a room as close to the beach as possible. We preferred not being on the ground so we could open our door, but they are all nice rooms. Also the North side of the hotel had construction right next to it when we stayed there. The south side doesn't but there are a lot of all-night clubs on that side. If you are a light sleeper, you might have to keep your patio door closed at you can hear it. It wasn't bad though. You just have to keep drinking and pass out. It didn't affect me too much.
