"anchoring" inflatable boat in bays of Akumal

I'm bringing an inflatable boat with me down to Akumal and want to snorkel off it. My question is what are good ways to anchor it? Are there bouys in Half Moon bay that I could anchor it to?

there are no bouys in Half moon bay, unfortunately, there is a mooring point in front of La Buena Vida for their dive boat. You might try a rock and some rope, Super Chomak might have some rope or there are a couple of stores in Akumal pueblo that should have some

I've done this two ways:
1. improvised small anchor with a scuba weight
2. tying off to something like a rock

Depending on the size of your inflatable, you could tie a tether line to your wrist.
