A few weeks ago we invited people to see a new feature on our web site here in Playa del Carmen. Incredible way to "virtually" walk the streets of Playa del Carmen and see real estate for sale!
Playa del Carmen Street Viewer

This past week end we launched a fun new project, for those of you who are thinking, starting to dream, or taking the first steps in buying real estate in Mexico, we invite you to a free of charge guide for non-Mexicans. The guide is written by real estate experts from all parts of Mexico who have been working in the Mexican industry for an average of 12 years. You will find a great amount of experience, tips and know how to help in your search and purchase!

"I have been reading the eBook for an hour. This should be required reading for everyone buying in Mexico!! Very well done. Thank you."

- Manny, Seattle Washington

We need your help and invite you to share any questions you have regarding the (Mexico real estate process) with us, and we will add the top 5 F.A.Q.'s to this guide and help people not just here in Playa del Carmen, but in other cities of Mexico too!

Hello Roni

great!... one of the things I really encourage people, new buyers to do is to.... read, understand the process here in Mexico, and surround yourself with "experienced professionals". I have not heard or have had the pleasure of meeting the author you mentioned above from Ajijic.

The expert contributor from Ajijic that we chose to contribute on the TOP Mexico Real Estate guide, was Jaime Niembro. He is very active in real estate with over 20 years experience -served the area's Real Estate Board as Vice President and Treasurer, He is also a member of AMPI, the Mexican National Board of Realtors, in which he has been the president, treasurer and secretary of the Chapala chapter. Sharing opinions is very important, and you can learn from them all.

Other contributers in the free TOP Mexico Real Estate guide are people extremely active in the profession. Linda Neil from Baja California for example is a legend. She has been in Mexico Real Estate for over 34 years!! Active in AMPI (Mexico's real estate board) and has been on their national board on various occassions. A true Pioneer here in Mexico real estate industry.

The guide also has contributors who have the, Mexico real estate degree and professional identification number (including yours truly! ). This is a new "cedula profesional" and is held by less than 50 people in Mexico and awarded by the federal offices of SEP (secretary of public education).

Lots of good updated information,
We had to design it short and sweet, but I think it is a very good introduction of the real estate process with great tips and advice from some true LEADING EXPERTS OF THE INDUSTRY.

the more read, the better informed, and the better decisions we make.
plus its FREE!! ( mexico real estate guide )

cheers

Sharon,

congratulations! that is great news.
Mexico real estate guide

some people feel that having signed a contract they have completed the process. and either forget or don't realize their deed needs to be recorded with a notary public. some projects are ready for closing immediately, others take a few months....

so getting title IS worth a celebration.
always great news to hear when someone from Canada / U.S. gets title...
its good for the region, and good for the industry

cheers Sharon!!

We have received a HUGE amount of people in this past week who have downloaded this free ebook guide. Mexico Real Estate Guide

The feed back about this book are trickling back and they are EXTREMELY POSITIVE. I can't list all of these responses but several did stand out given the "authority" of the readers such as Mr. John Glaab from Puerto Vallarta / Baja California. He read the guide and wrote back to me.

"When I purchased my Mexican property in 1991, I was lucky. I did it myself, without the aid of books or a closing company. In those days there was a lot of ignorance and lack of ethics in the industry. That has created too many horror stories, concerning purchases. We still need a lot more education. This book
TOP Mexico Real Estate Guide, tackles that issue head on.
Myself, I have never stopped studying Mexican real estate and the law that governs the sale of Mexican property. Every person involved in the industry should read and study this book. In so doing they will be able to answer clients questions in a true and professional manner"

-John Glaab
Certified International Property Specialist

Mr. Glaab is a leading figure for real estate here in Mexico for Non-Mexicans. He was the founder of the real estate board over in Baja California back in early 1991! He is extremely active with the national board of realtors up in the USA and in bringing programs and projects to be applied here in Mexico real estate industry.
We were very pleased that he took the time to write to us and share his opinion. If you are thinking of buying real estate in Mexico, it wont hurt to get a copy to of this guide to read over.

Hello!

I just wanted to give a short note of THANKS to everyone who has been downloading this free ebook from the Playainfo. group. HOPE IT HELPS GIVE YOU A BASE FROM WHERE TO START.

For those who have not had the chance to download yet, it is free, and only takes about 1 minute to get pdf copy.

"Thomas:

Congratulations on creating a good reference source for real estate investors in Mexico...your book accomplishes something very important - it puts the investor in control of his destiny. Too many times, real estate purchases have made simple mistakes that could have been avoided. Why? Simply by not having enough information to make informed decisions. By providing information about the process of buying real estate in Mexico, your guide puts the purchaser in the driver's seat.
Congratulations and I am happy to see, finally, such good information in black and white for all to obtain."

I personally like this guide which truly contains a wealth of information regarding the legalities of participation in Mexican real estate and it explains legal processes involved in purchasing, owning and improving properties outside and inside the restricted zone, including the federal zone.

Jenise

thank you very much!! I will pass the word to the other brokers who participated in the book. feed back is great so we can improve and add more to it.

Our goal is to give people, new to the process of buying real estate in Mexico, a base from which to make their decisions.

From your comments it sounds like you have a pretty good understanding of the restricted zone and bank trusts? Do you have property in Mexico?

cheers...and thanks again for sharing !!!

Jeff,

that is great! I always recommend for new buyers or people looking to invest or buy to first learn the process, see options, then find yourself a good rep. someone who will help you find properties and protect your interests and money. There are many strategies in real estate, and many opportunities. Experience is very important. If you have specific questions regarding the book, feel free to PM me! also you can find a variety of tips and pointers shared by some experts with years of experience at Mexico real estate blog.

thanks Jeff!

Some feedback received this morning.

" Thomas,

once again, I am thrilled that you are explaining the intricacies of buying and building in Mexico. Having worked for a Mexican developer (Bay View Grand) in Puerto Vallarta, there are quite a few things that I learned about the construction process and it ALWAYS helps to have a real estate professional to navigate the system.

Saludos, Susan "

We just met with some great people from Canada who are now new property owners and neighbors to the Playa del Carmen community. They had some great things to say about the free ebook guide.

SEE THE VIDEO ABOUT THIS EBOOK
by clicking here( Mexico real estate blog ).

if you know of anyone who is thinking of buying and investing into Mexican properties, this ebook is a good introduction to the steps involved.
