UPDATE: From a Dutch newspaper today:
Almost half of the inhabitants are happy with the blow prohibition in the Amsterdam neighbourhood "De Baarsjes". There is less trouble from kids now because they can't smoke weed anymore outside. 29% of the entrepreneurs see a descent in trouble. 75% think it's a good initiative.
The signs were put up in februari of this year, not a few years ago as I said earlier.
