Exactly...just do it! If you are eating at a place that uses appropriate cooking and food handling techniques...which they do in Playa...why would they want to kill off all the tourists?...then you're fine! If you've eaten hot dogs in the states you've eaten all that stuff and worse. The workers at a nearby packing plant put it succinctly..."lips and assholes" are the main ingredients of a good ol' American weiner. If you are adventurous, you may find something wonderful you just love. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
