There's always savory alternatives to consider, such as 'Road Kill of the Day,' 'Guess what Color this Cat Was,' 'My Neighbor's Dog is not so Nasty After All,' 'Bet You'll Never Guess What Animal this Was,' 'Creative Taco Entrails,' 'Sewer Rats A LA Ranchera,' 'Iguana Nails and Tails,' etc, etc, etc,
On a serious note, I wouldn't fret over what stuff you see on your plate. In general terms, you will not see anything you haven't seen before, in terms of meat sources and vegetables. Inevitably, you'll come across some novel food recipes and food items, irrespective of how many times you've eaten at your local Mex restaurant back here in the US. However, such novelty should only add to the exciting experience of being in MX, since there is no valid reason to suspect that you may be eating something foul or noxious.
