When I had been at the perrera it was so terrible that I promised myself never ever to go to this place again.
It was the same day when I heard about "Sylvie" and that she brings every morning food and water for the dogs.
I was overwhelmed how strong this lady must be.
Than I read that she is also supporting Angel Notion
I had the chance to talk to her by phone and she told me (by the way in perfect german!) that she also has a restaurant named Byblos.
Her days must have 36 hours
She is in my eyes a miracle and I'll take one's hat off to her
Thanks Sylvie
I wish you the best for all your work
Susie

Yes she has a 36 hours day. She owns and runs her restaurant Byblos, on 14th street between 10th and 5th avenue, excellent restaurant by the way
Ebery day she goes to la perrera, and as Susie said, I could never do it. She suffers and cries every time, but someone has to go there and help, as she says. In her own house she has something like 22 dogs, plus many others at a hosue they rent at ejido, plus all the dogs at la perrera, that makes a huge amount of money per day. She also takes the animals to the vets, she not only feeds them.
i love Silvie.
I don't think she would ever find the time to be on playainfo, she has no time during the day and works also at night, I would be VERY happy to start a thread for her association, I will ask her perimission and invest some of my time if needed. They always are very happy and thankful for any donation they receive.
I love her, have I said this already?

Of course donations are always very welcome, there are many mouths to feed and many medicines to buy, and many vet bills to pay:

Silvie just came to see me. She is very sad. They no longer have money to buy dog food. Please, if anyone is in town, residents or on vacation, and if you want to help the dogs at the pound plus 85 rescued dogs, please pop by at Byblos restaurant aon 14th street between 10th and 5th for a small donation...everything is good these days
