It's the most complete one I've ever done....I took notes everyday, which helped a lot. Someday I need to post a photo of the wall/s where I have my Mexican masks. To be honest, my Mexico room (family room) creeps a lot of people out with all the devil masks and skeletons! (Catrinas)

OMG.....that was the most amazing trip report I have ever read! Sitting inside on a cold, Sunday afternoon with snow and ice coming down outside, this was the most pleasant afternoon in a long time!! Thank you so much for taking the time for posting this. Love the many beautiful pictures and all the details....wow....must have taken a long time to write. We now have some new places to add to our bucket list thanks to you.

It's just a few days over 2 years since I wrote this trip report, which now has in excess of 30,000 views. I hope a few of you who read the report have been encouraged to try some other destinations in Mexico! There are many really interesting places just waiting to be discovered!

For those of you contemplating a trip to Zihuatanejo, and possibly staying at Hotel Brisas del Mar, this hotel has had a name change......probably to do away with the confusion caused by the hotel with a similar name over in Ixtapa. Hotel Brisas del Mar is now HOTEL AURA DEL MAR. It's the same gorgeous boutique hotel. The website indicates that breakfast is now included in the room price.
