Playa.info mobile

I'm not sure how I did it, but a couple weeks ago PI came in a mobile-friendly version on my phone. Since, though, it hasn't again, but I really liked it and want to use it again rather than trying to zoom around using the standard browser config of the site.

Is it a setting on my phone that I need to change? A different web address?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specifically, I'm using a Blackberry.

I guess you and I are the only ones that preferred that interface on a mobile device. All other feedback was negative so I disabled it.

I haven't found any other good alternatives yet.

You could do what fidelity and other sites do. Enable it but give people who don't want it an upfront link to go to the full, desktop version.

That will serve folks with good mobile browsers and folks with not-so-good mobile browsers.

What's to like about having to zoom in on every page, waiting for it to reload, then having to scroll back and forth just to read one response in microscopic text?

The only downfall I noticed was not being able to see everyone's signatures, but at the same time that was great because it made the pages load so much faster without all the extras needing to load.

I like roni's idea. I've seen it on many other sites, but I don't know what kind of extra work that requires of you james.

I liked the mobile version as well. Any way to allow people to choose? For example, when I go to Facebook on my phone, the mobile version comes up but then I can go to the normal version just by clicking on another button.

So, basically I like Roni's suggestion, if it is possible.

I hated it because it's what came up on my iPad. There is another site I use called Hot Coupon World that has a mobile version but at the bottom you can touch on "Original Version" and get the standard version. Maybe you could have that option James?
