I did say it was worth it for the experience to see it. If I was in Playa with someone who had never been there, I would go again.

Yeah, but don't you think you possibly overpaid for your cocktails?

We saw the prices on the menu before we ordered our drinks. We could have turned around and walked right back out. But we didn't. I assumed the prices were high because you're paying for the atmosphere (nice classy restaurant/bar, not a hole in the wall place). I was okay with that.

BTW, I'm wondering if the bar menu prices are different from the restaurant prices? Perhaps they've recently bumped up their prices? IDK. Kinda wish I took a pic of the menu to post on here.

There menu is priced in pesos. I would doubt very much that they have 200 + peso drinks on the menu. Are you sure that you didn't err in the exchange?

A month ago they had a re inauguration, they featured a new menu, and remodeled the lounge area, it looks a bit like a disco now, they will serve dinner in the original area but if you want just drinks they offer you the bar, I did not like the loud music and atmosphere of blinking lights to have a nice chat and be able to enjoy a drink and talk
But we were able to convince the waiter to let us order drinks only on the restaurant area.

It is an amazing place, worth visiting it, but they said, if they had not done anything major to their food, it is a place to go to see and have 1 dink, consider the price an entree fee

enjoy
Claudia

No mistake. We went on a Saturday night and I seen they advertised disco on weekends. They did have the disco lights & loud music. It was a pretty cool place to check out. It was really empty though. There were two other small groups there besides us. Even given the prices we paid, I would still recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there before.
