Sea Son - a new french fusion place

Just returned from a quick long weekend in Playa - and I had a delicious meal at Season! Their menu will change with what is fresh each season, thus the name. My meal was delicious, and several other tables nearby were quite pleased as well. It isn't a fast place, but quite appropriate for the food quality. I found them very accommodating to my requests and the wait staff was delightful and very personable. I'll definitely return next month with Hubby as he loves salmon - After I ordered, I heard another table saying that they came just for the salmon dish, which sounds like a house specialty.

If you go, try the two-color soup. It was incredible!

So I assume they're getting fresh salmon from wherever it's salmon fishing season right now, not frozen farmed salmon?

I couldn't tell you as I didn't order it, just heard after the fact that was several people's favorite dish, and the waitress seemed to imply that was a most popular item. I do remember that they grow most, if not all, of the herbs used in their cooking on site. So maybe their "seasonal" definition isn't all that strict and refers more to the veggies and herbs used in their dishes.

All I can tell you is that my meal was wonderful and we'll be going back. It will be interesting to see what menu items might have changed.

we went to sea son last night to try it out... it was very good. we used to be regulars at that location when it was la palette, so am glad that there is another good restaurant there in its place. and i thought the prices were very reasonable as well.

there is a wings and pizza place on the south side of constituyentes, just west of tenth
my friends say both the pizza and the wings are good
they also deliver

i have not tried the place, the doctor tells me i shouldn't eat anything that i like to eat

Thanks for the tip, I will be staying at Corto Maltes so Zenzi's will be awfully convenient.

Thanks I will try there's, although I would have a tough time because their burgers and Club sandwiches are awesome to. I never had a burger in Playa that I thought was as good as the burgers I can get back home until Wickey's and they are up there with the best.

i feel the same way about the burgers at Wicky's. it's gonna be very hard to beat that burger!!

We tried Season last night, and were very happy with everything. It's such a great space, always was. There is not much French on the autumn menu, most of it is seafood, but hub loved the shrimp risotto, and they were good enough to make the duck/shrimp spring rolls all duck for me, and they were excellent. We will definitely keep them on our list. We would never have known about them if not for this thread, so Thanks!
