My Kids Trip ! Iberostar and Dreams

Stepson ,his wife and th Grandkids went to Dreams Cancun. They book the booked the higher price room so they could oversee the dolphin pool and ocean. They booked through CheapCarribean about on Thursday before leaving out on Sunday. There was some confusing but CheapCarribean got that fixed before the trip. When they got there the Hotel had overbooked! The waiting a few hours after check in and recieved a basic room with One Bed and no rollups. The finally received cots for the kids. They were moved to the room the purchased the next day with no compensation. They felt the pool was small and the beach a bit rocky but the hotel was clean but plain. They had a good time.

They went ona zip line tour. The zip line equipment broke on my stepson. The rollers on one of the zipline broke causing him to stop in the middle of the line. Rules were not followed and a man was allowed to go down the zip line will he was still on it. The man behind him struck him at full speed. They were both roughed up pretty good. The works rush to try to get to him before he was struck but it was to late! They tugged him back in foot by foot.

The stepson was also hit with the Timeshare , no it's not a timeshare scam. He repeatly asked if it was a Timeshare and they repeatly said it wasn't but of course it is a Timeshare. Most Texans dislike Timeshares in Mexico Because the package deals are so much cheaper and offer a greater varity than the same old timeshare.

My Daughter and her boyfreind Booked and AppleVacation Via DoylesTown Travel to use the 10% discount. She booked Iberostar Tucan because she liked her stay at Iberostar Cozumel. When they arrived at the Tucan the kept trying to get her to upgrade. She didn't have money for an upgrade. The hotel decided to provide them a free taxi and upgrade them to the Iberostar Grand. My daughter still was worried she would have to pay for the upgrade, but thouht a $20 taxi ride would put her back where she was. The upgrade was totally free. She had a butler and a pillow menu for the bed and NO KIDS. The shows were very well produced and in and Air Conditioned room with red velet chairs and excellent actors. She really enjoyed the Stay.

She always gets lucky. Last year she got to stay at the Vila Miramar in Akumal. She would recommend it too.
