Best Chile Relleno

My wife and I are heading down to PDC for our honeymoon. The first few days we are staying at Casa Ticul in town, and we were hoping to find a place with GREAT Chile Rellenos. Does anyone have any recommendations?

It seems as though it isn't all that common on PDC menus, but I assume that they have to have it some places!

Thanks.

Take the ferry over to Cozumel and go to Casa Denis. it's right off the main square and has the most delicious Chile Relleno you will ever find!
I didn't see them in Playa and I would check menus as we strolled 5th. The only other one I had on that trip was in Puerto Morelos and it wasn't great.
If you make it to Casa Denis (the oldest restaurant in Cozumel and the best for authentic food IMO) order the Mojito GRANDE. It's huge!!!

Happy to share!

We fell in love with Mexico in Cozumel so make the trek over at least once a trip.

Below my dear friends- is a Grande Mojito and I don't even think it's 10 bucks! Plus the waiter would come by and pour shots of rum into it as we would get closer to the end!

I've eaten there a few times and especially enjoy breakfast. The mole covered things are AMAZING. I forget what they are called but like a burrito with eggs and chorizo...
YUMMERS!

You can find jalapeno rellanos on the taco carts in the morning by the ADO bus station. They were spicy so you don't need to put hot sauce on them... like someone I know did

Best I've tasted yet is at El Tabano in Tulum.

I missed the chili's en nogales at La Cueva del Chango last Christmas season - really looking forward to those this year.

Seems like one of the food carts by the bus station has good ones.

There is a great comida corrida place on Avenida 10 and approximately calle 78, right across the street from the Montessori School. He has really delicious chili rellenos once a week. Not sure of the day, but I think we had them on a Saturday. They were a ground beef and vegetable filled chili relleno and were great.

I remember seeing Charlies in Tulum making Rellenos on Rachel Rays' visit, they looked really good!

Ceelou's looks amazing!

The best one's I've had were in Tulum on the beach, at a vegetarian restaurant called Maya Tulum. Not overly greasy, with both red and green sauce. I've been there three times in total now for the same dish. I had never had them before there, and everywhere I've had them since has been disappointing.
