Mike is serious about his bocce. He hauled up a portable bocce court. He and I played the first game. He was soundly beating me before he turned over the reins to Bonny, who beat me even worse. It was a constant theme, as lost to John a bit later, and then I lost to Miles, who had never played before.
 Okay, now we know why Mike was beating me, compare our two drinks of choice.  Uno and Colleen. I post this expressionless picture of them mainly to point out Uno’s shirt. How many others of you would have thought that Uno would have showed up in a collared shirt? Yeah, I didn’t think so either. He and I discussed this problem and he remedied it the next day. Of course notice that Uno has beer, that was very predictable.  Let’s bust out some shots of La Pinta. Sol, Bonny, Lucy, Kathy, and TG. Salud!  C’mon now gals, we ain’t got all night. Actually, we do I suppose. What are TG and Colleen inspecting their glasses for? Drink up now!  Good work Kathy  You too Sol!  TG has added another favorite tequila to her list!  Uno is explaining to Sol why he had to wear a collared shirt. Sol is politely smiling while truly being disgusted.  Dinnertime. Here are the Uno’s and Lucy’s. Uno made a delicious salmon appetizer and Ruben had some great BBQ pork. I am sure there was some other delicious stuff, but as this was about 7PM and we started drinking at 11:30AM, my memory is a bit foggy.  Happy Peeps at dinnertime.  TG and I with John. He is a man of few words, but starts to open up after a bit and has a lot of interesting stories to share. He was such an amazing sport to have his wife’s “internet friends” invade his house all weekend!  Roni mentioned that he had been taking close up pics of some of the Peeps, so I decided to do so as well. Some turned out pretty cool. Michael  Ruben and Denise.  Kathy and her most common expression  BonnyW  Miles, Kathy, and Denise – not PI Peeps (yet) so most of you wouldn’t recognize them.  TG  Colleen was frequently listening and laughing. A great gal.  LucyE, winner of the recent PPS vacation giveaway. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get her bombed enough to auction it off.  After dinner, John started up a fire and the drinking and storytelling continued. Smiles on the faces of Peeps were pretty common.  Mike W had a long day. Little sleep and a long drive up while pulling a trailer. Better put that man to bed Bonny!  TG was one of the first ones to bed, maybe around 11. I think I called it a night around midnight. Others think they made it until sometime between 1 and 2. We are a bit foggy on those details. The only thing we know is that it was a great first day! Pics taken Saturday AM, of Friday night’s dead soldiers. Keep in mind that these are only the dead wine bottles and a bottle of La Pinta, and does not include dead beer bottles, or partially dead wine bottles and tequila bottles. These pics also give you a great view of the bar area that syl and John setup for us. As you can see in the other pics, it was a very popular hangout!   Next up…dusting off the cobweb’s on Saturday AM.

Oh man, that looks awesome! Right up my alley... except for, um, that wine thing... and I don't know bocce from splotchy... and those extreme photo closeups make me and my pores nervous... but other than thaaaaat....
