Question At a Bus Stop

You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus

An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
An old friend who once saved your life.
The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Knowing that there can only be one passenger in your car, whom would you choose?

Hint: You can make everyone happy.

Your car can only contain one passenger, so whom should it be?

EDIT: You may have noticed this thread was closed as soon as it was entered. That was not intended to limit your input or enjoyment in any way. On the contrary, your participation is most welcome. The action was taken to prevent eager Peeps from going into some search engine, finding the answer, and posting it, as happened on several occasions in the past. (Of course I harvest a lot of this material from other sources. You didn’t think I create it all myself, did you? I’m good, but I’m not that good!) Regrettably, that also means that folks who legitimately work out their own answers, and would like to post them, don’t get to display their prowess, but I’m afraid that can’t be helped. I’ll open the thread in a couple of days, when Peeps have had an opportunity to try their hand at a solution, and you can post away then. The official answer will come a bit after that. I appreciate your patience and understanding, and hope you enjoy the exercise.

How would you know someone is your "perfect partner" just by driving by a bus stop?

I would take the old lady, but first stop to talk with the friend. Promise to pick her up later and buy her a drink if she can find out the dirt on the guy who might be perfect, make sure he's not a serial killer who hangs out at bus stops. But then maybe they would fall for each other and you'd end up a bridesmaid in her wedding, but at least you stopped to help an old person.

I'm with you in this. Have the lifesaving friend drive the old lady to the hospital while you find out just how perfect the partner is.

Sorry Mel - too many games here. . You gotta be straight with your (potential) perfect partner. And, why would you want to expose the person who saved your life to the possibility of a serial killer?

Perhaps they're a perfect physical specimen, buck nekkid, except for a skimpy G-string, with $100 bills sticking out of it? Hey...it could happen. Wasamatta', Mel, you don't believe in love at first sight? No romance in your soul?

As they are one in same person, repay the favor to the old lady who saved your life by driving her to the hospital so you may spend your twilight years together.

Pick up the old lady on the off chance that she is rich and will write you into her will right before she dies.

Alternatively,if there are still 3 people there when you sober up, give the car to your savior to drive the old woman to the hospital.Take your newfound love on the ADO to Playa and go to KFC for some original recipe

The Official Answer

The old lady of course! After helping the old lady into the car, you can give your keys to your friend to drive her where she needs to go. Then you wait for the bus with your perfect partner.
