At least in the mind of FDR it was, he was notorious for just such actions, rounding people up based solely on their ethnicity or place of birth and locking them away for years. You remember FDR, don't you; big time lib as I heard it? Apparently such thoughts cut across partisan lines.

Some look back at the Japanese internment camps and cringe with shame and disgust, learning from history and swearing it will never happen again.

Others look back and wish we could do the same now.

In the last 48 hours here:
Beer at my hang out went up 50 cents per bottle.
The beer deal they had for buckets is discontinued.
2 pattys of hamburg that was 3.25 2 days ago is now 4.12.
Gas went from 3.09 gal to to 3.20.

At it will only get worse, much worse.

What is happening in the mid-east,I can really see happening here.

We just can't take anymore of this,it's that simple.

I'm getting an image of BB with a bunch of frenchfries and a hamburger wrapped around his head with saran wrap.

You did ask the question, I just provided an example of one whose beliefs on the matter were crystal clear; perhaps you should read about his reasoning on the subject to see how he squared his actions with the Constitution.

Don't forget that others apart from Japanese people in America were so treated; their story is left untold to the general public.

For example, Glenn Beck's insults to Reformed rabbi's just this week

And his non-apology

Amazing, isn't it.
