The republicans need a strong and acceptable candidate or we are screwed, even I know that. Two years....well a hell of a lot of things can happen in two years.

Sorry, but I have only just seen this question being addressed to me after a Sammy quoting later on.

WHY this question would come up and be addressed to me, I don't know. That's quite the synapse leap.

I have no particular opinion of Vietnam draft dodgers. I was a tot at the time.

What is the connection you see between the bogus claim above and my response to it, all about just being an expat and several excellent reasons for it, and people who left the country for the very specific and different reason of avoiding being drafted into service for the Vietnam?

If you love America, I'd suggest you work hope and pray for Obama's re-election.

Sure can...Obama two years before he decided to run said publicly that he did not have the experience to be President...I mean how difficult can it be to spend spend spend?

I think if Hill ran against him again......he may not even win the primary

Once he took office....I kept an open mind.....I had HOPE..... Our President has not delivered......It seems to me, he has done more to devide than unite.... I do not think he has the economy on the path to recovery. I don't base things on any polls but on what I see....Many of the cleints I sell to or sold to in the past, have gone out of business, this year and many more tell me they are on the brink of closing.

Evidence strongly supporting a double-dip - which I define as heading into another recession (as defined by NBER) soon does not yet exist. Look at RR and Freight shipments over the past month, for one example I have read of - last week, I think it was.

That does not mean it will not happen, but does not appear imminent.

How many jobs have been created in nineteen months vs how many millions of people are still without jobs?

Slim is in the shipping business.. Freight. Although Texas hasn't been hit as hard as the rest of the country...The freight revenues are still down from 2 years ago. They always go up this time of year due to "back to school" and Christmas. Not that this spike has anything to do with the future recovery

vs how many more jobs would have been lost if we had continued on the course Bush had us on (prior to him starting with the stimulus spending)?
