We went to Cuevo 3 times on our trip last May. LOVED it.

We also did Nativo the one by the Mega. Also good. Loved the Chaya here...mmm.

I have pictures of us eating at both places here.

Thanks for all the great suggestions.

I guess that in the grand scheme of food, I'm just not big on breakfast. I usually get a club sandwhich when we go to breakfast at home...but I definitely plan on getting an enchilada at Carboncitos and the chilaquiles at Nativo look delish! Thanks for your pics, Jimontheriver.

I'll throw my 2 cents in also and say the chicken chilaquiles at La Cueva del Chango are delicioso ... especially with the green habanero chili salsa.

Also El Bistro is now Smart Deli open 24hrs ... you can get the same stuff there as if at a 7-11.

El Bistro..as in La Tortuga's restaurant? :
I'm confused.
I don't know why they would change from the wonderful restaurant that I love to a Smart Deli?

Fill me in. I can't help but feel like this just can't be.

El Bistro had a 2nd location in the Little Italy area on 5th. I'm guessing this is the one that is now a Deli.

Will be staying at El Faro in a few weeks. Both Nativo and Cueva look delicious. Both seem like a long way away to travel for breakfast unless I want to taxi in the morning and I generally don't. Any one have any good ideas for close to where I'm staying? Thanks.
