Like I wrote in another thread last night they had to put to sleep the mom of the little elephant which was born in the zoo in Cologne in march. This is sad and I really feel for that little elephant girl who lost her mom. BUT one local newpaper put up a condolence book in the internet and you should read what people are writing there... Maybe her keepers will read them to her!!
I did see a thing on one of those nature shows where elephants actually seemed to mourn their dead...
